SAPIN was established in September 1976 in the eastern city of Dammam with a first contract to manufacture metal cans for a single international paint company. An uncompromising approach to delivering best practice meant we were soon selling to other paint manufacturers, and then to the chemicals industry.

Reflecting our commitment to innovation, we established our own in-house design and printing department in 1984. Aerosol can production was begun in 1989, and the manufacture of food cans followed in 1993, which required a second site in Dammam. This new site was extended in 1997, whilst our original home was expanded in 1999 with a new fast aerosol can body maker and new artworking equipment.

In 2004, SAPIN UAE, an associate company was formed to offer improved services for customers in the lower GCC countries. Whilst much has changed in the past 30 years, our passion for delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions remains as strong as ever.
